What is  The story teller!?

The readers' reactions to events, settings and characters really depend on who is telling the story. Every thing is in the eye of the story teller.

ردود فعل القراء على الأحداث ، والإعداد والشخصيات يعتمد على من هو الذي يحكي قصة. كل شيء هو في عين للراوي.

What is point of view?

ما هي وجهة نظر؟

-a story told by the a story teller. A narrative is a story and a narrator is a story teller.

-when we discuss point of view in literature, we are basically talking about the narrator of the story.

القصة تقال عن طريق الراوي. الرواية هي القصة ،.

، عندما نناقش وجهة نظر في الأدب ، يعني أننا نتحدث أساسا عن راوي القصة.

( it is the perspective or angle from which a story is told.)

Different kind of narrators(point of view)

1) first person point of view:

Character can be the main or a minor character in the story. The speaker in the story says I . the reader know only what this character knows. Since we are looking at the point of view, this point of view can be seen as rather limited.

شخصية قد تكون رئيسية أو ثانوية . والمتحدث في القصة يقول " أنا ". القارئ لا يعرف سوى ما تعرفه هذه الشخصية. وبما أننا نبحث في وجهة نظر ، يمكن اعتبار وجهة النظر هذه كما لو محدودة نوعا ما.

2)third person point of view:

The narrator is usually not a character in the story and uses third person pronouns they, he, she,

الراوي عادة ليس شخصية في القصة ويستخدم الضمائر هي هو هم

there are two kind :

- omniscient: this narrator is described at the being all knowing. This narrator comments on all the characters in the story, revealing their actions, experiences and thoughts.

كلي العلم : وهذا الراوي يوصف على انه عالم بالكل .تعليقات الراوي على جميع الشخصيات في القصة ، تكشف عن أعمالهم والخبرات والأفكار.

-limited omniscient: narrator concentrate on one character in the story. His characters' actions, experiences and thoughts are usually made known to the reader.

محدودة كلي العلم الراوي يركز على شخصية واحدة في القصة. عادة ما تكون مبنية على أعمال وخبرات وأفكار معروفة لدى القارئ

3) objective point of view or the detached (distanced, impersonal) observer:

The narrator used the third person pronouns( he. she ,they) but only action and dialogue will be reported in a detached manner. There are no guide by giving commentary. We are not told what to think about certain character. The characters' feeling and thoughts remain unknown to the reader . the reader infer or assume what a character is thinking or feeling.

استخدام الراوي لضمائر الشخص الثالث هو هي هم. ولكن فقط الحركات والحوارات تقدم في تقرير بطريقة منفصلة. لا توجد أي دليل من إعطاء التعليق. لا نعلم نعتقده في شخصية معينة. شعور الشخصيات وأفكارها لا تزال مجهولة للقارئ. ويستنتج القارئ بماذا تفكر وتشعر الشخصية.

4) unreliable narrator:

This narrator could be mad dishonest deceptive or deceived into believing something that is not true. Unreliable narrator speaks from first person point of view and sometime speaks in third person.

الراوي يكون مجنون مخادع أو مضلل للاعتقاد بأن شيئا ما ليس صحيحا. الراوي غير موثوق يتحدث من وجهة نظر الشخص الأول ويتحدث في بعض الأحيان من وجهة النظر الثالثة
